Police Seize ₹20 Lakh from Scooter Bag During Patna NIA Operation

During a coordinated NIA operation in Patna’s Chitraguppt Nagar locality, law-enforcement officers uncovered a substantial cash hoard hidden in a scooter. After the suspect fled the premises upon the agents’ accidental entry into an adjacent flat, police officers blocked his escape route. A search of the scooter revealed a bag stuffed with roughly twenty lakh rupees, which was immediately confiscated. The individual, later identified as Anmol Kumar Modi of Ward 7, Chakia, East Champaran, could not account for the cash. The incident has been reported to the Income Tax Department for further scrutiny. The operation also led to the capture of a most-wanted terrorist residing in flat 609 of the Kusum Infinity Apartments.
