In the Bariyarpur police station area of Bihar’s Munger district, a case of theft involving 25 kilograms of lentils has come to light. Some children were caught after stealing the lentils from a home in Jhawabahiyar Panchayat. Following the theft, villagers apprehended the children, tied their hands with a rope, and paraded them through the village. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter. The stolen lentils were reportedly sold at a shop. The villagers, after catching the four children, tied their hands with plastic ropes and questioned them. After the children confessed, they were paraded through the entire village. Some individuals recorded the event and uploaded the video on social media.
