In an unusual episode on a Bihar express, a would‑be mobile thief found himself stuck to the train’s window after fellow travellers intervened. The assailant tried to grab a phone from a passenger sitting by the carriage window. Other passengers promptly grabbed his hand, but the train’s departure meant the thief could not retreat. He hung outside the moving train for about eight kilometres, from Manasi up to Khagaria. Social media clips display the commuters holding his wrist, questioning him, and the thief’s desperate calls for assistance. When the train stopped at Khagaria, the on‑site GRP team safely pulled the man down, arrested him and transferred him to jail the following day.
