During a TV9 digital meeting held in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, BJP MP and Union Minister of State Raj Bhushan Chaudhary shared his perspectives. He recounted that he initially had intentions of contesting from Khagaria in 2019, but destiny led him to Muzaffarpur. He expressed his commitment to make it his karmabhoomi (workplace). Discussing the Nishad community’s political affiliations, Chaudhary asserted that their association with the BJP and its predecessors dates back to ancient times, even to the era of Ramayana. He pointed out the historical respect the Nishad community held during the Treta Yuga and highlighted the BJP’s actions, such as the construction of a temple for Kevat Raj alongside Lord Ram, as a reason for the Nishad community to trust that their interests are best served by the BJP and its allies. He firmly believes that despite any opposing claims, the Nishad community will ultimately support the NDA.
