LJP (R) MP Rajesh Verma, speaking at a TV9 Digital event in Purnia before the Bihar Assembly elections, acknowledged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s progress in Bihar but emphasized the need for increased momentum. Addressing the prospect of Chirag Paswan as a CM candidate, Verma stated that their leader possesses both patience and vision, adding that there is no rush, and the party will contest the elections under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, with the support of the workers. He highlighted the CM’s contribution to improving Bihar and suggested that a combination of experience and youthful perspective could further boost the state’s development. Verma also mentioned the party’s desire for respectable seat allocation and praised Chirag Paswan’s popularity. He also addressed the recent comments made by Tejashwi Yadav on Chirag’s personal life, criticizing his remarks and highlighting the importance of focusing on substantive issues related to governance and development. Regarding Prashant Kishor, Verma cautioned against overconfidence, suggesting that while confidence is important, overconfidence is not. He also commented on the allegations against Sambhavi Chaudhary, stating that an investigation would reveal the truth.
