A man in Bihar has been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of 500,000 rupees for being found guilty of alcohol trafficking for the second time. The Special Judge of the Araria Exclusive Excise Court, Shefali Narayan, delivered the sentence on Tuesday. The court also ordered that if the convict fails to pay the fine, he will have to serve an additional year of simple imprisonment. The case against the convict was filed by Police Inspector Chhote Lal Chauhan, with the FIR registered at the Narpatganj (Bathnaha) police station. The convicted individual, identified as Pramod Yadav (30), resides in Jimrahi, Ward number three, in the Narpatganj police station area.
