Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rajkumar Rai was fatally shot in Patna on Wednesday night. The incident occurred around 10 PM near Rajendra Nagar Terminal, specifically in lane number seventeen. Initial reports suggest that the assailants were captured on CCTV footage. Rai, who was politically active and involved in land dealings, was attacked as he arrived near his residence. Despite attempts to seek refuge in a nearby shop, he succumbed to his injuries while en route to the hospital. Police are examining all potential motives and angles in the case.
