At the RJD’s silver jubilee celebration, a new slogan was coined, directly criticizing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The meeting focused on strengthening the Grand Alliance for the upcoming assembly elections and establishing Tejashwi Yadav as the Chief Minister. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav urged party members to work diligently for the poor, promising party nominations to those who excel. He emphasized the need to unite and remove the RSS and Nitish Kumar to form their own government. Former Chief Minister Rabri Devi criticized the state government, alleging media suppression and urging party members to unite. She attacked PM Narendra Modi and highlighted the need to strengthen the party by uniting all castes and communities. Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav stated that people are eager for change after Nitish Kumar’s 20-year tenure. He highlighted Kumar’s absence from NITI Aayog meetings, questioning his commitment to Bihar. Yadav also criticized the two Deputy Chief Ministers, challenging them to showcase their achievements. He accused them of prioritizing criticism of Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav over actual work. Mangali Lal Mandal, addressing the gathering as state president, emphasized the challenges ahead and highlighted the need for unity to counter the existing government.
