Police in the Saran district have achieved a significant breakthrough, successfully thwarting a robbery plot and solving a recent CSP robbery case. Acting on a tip, law enforcement apprehended three criminals near the Sultanganj canal, seizing weapons. The police also cracked the CSP robbery case within 36 hours. Rural SP Sanjay Kumar provided details about the operation during a press conference.
According to the Rural SP, the police received confidential information about a planned major criminal act by some criminals near the Sultanganj canal in the Amanour police station area. Acting swiftly, a police team led by Madhaura DSP Naresh Paswan arrested three suspects, recovering weapons from them. The arrested individuals were identified as Manish Kumar and Rohit Kumar from Dholrahi Kaithal, Amanour, and Prince Kumar from Fulwaria, Maker.
The police recovered a country-made pistol, live cartridges, sharp knives, the motorcycle used in the CSP robbery, Rs 12,000 in cash, the CSP operator’s Aadhaar card, and a photograph. The Rural SP stated that all three criminals had prior criminal records in the Amanour and Maker police stations.
Their arrest prevented a potentially large criminal incident in the area. Rural SP Sanjay Kumar praised the Madhaura DSP, Amanour Station House Officer, and the entire team for their promptness and efficiency, which led to two major achievements: foiling the robbery plot and solving the robbery case.
The successful resolution of the robbery case was based on the items recovered from the arrested suspects. A country-made pistol, two live cartridges, a sharp knife, and two motorcycles, along with other items, were recovered from the three suspects.
