Saswat Mishra Appointed Principal Secretary to Odisha CM Following Rath Yatra Changes

Following an administrative reshuffle after the Saradhabali stampede, the Odisha government has appointed Saswat Mishra, a 1996-batch IAS officer, as the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Majhi. Mishra, currently serving as Principal Secretary, Finance Department, and Chairman of IDCO, will continue in these roles alongside his new responsibilities. The post had been vacant since May 2nd. Earlier, the government appointed Arvind Agarwal as overall in-charge of Rath Yatra and Pinak Mishra as the new SP, with Chanchal Rana appointed as Puri Collector.
