Training of Savarn Nodal Officers Scheduled at Patna on August 10

To operationalise Mission Savarn, the state government has announced a dedicated training programme for the newly appointed nodal officers. The session will be held on August 10 at the Taraman­dal Hall in Patna. Participants will receive instruction from experts of the Bihar State Savarn Commission, covering legal frameworks, grievance redress mechanisms, and best practices for community outreach.

The training is designed to forge a seamless link between the Savarn Commission and district administrations. While the BJP contends that the move is a non‑political, administrative reform, critics argue that the timing—coming just weeks after the Bankipur by‑election—suggests a strategic attempt to win back the Savarn vote bank.
