Severe Weather Warning: Hailstorms and Heavy Rain Forecast for 60 UP Districts

Uttar Pradesh is bracing for severe weather as meteorologists predict hailstorms and heavy rainfall across more than 60 districts in the coming 48 hours. The IMD has highlighted specific risks for Saharanpur, Bijnor, and Muzaffarnagar. Residents in rural areas have been cautioned against lightning strikes and gusty winds reaching speeds of 50 kmph. These pre-monsoon showers have already begun in parts of Bundelkhand, leading to a sharp drop in temperatures and providing an end to the prolonged heatwave that has gripped the state.
