In Nalanda district, Bihar, a recent incident has resulted in the death of an 18-year-old. The crime occurred in broad daylight, with assailants firing upon the victim. The incident took place in the Sarmera police station area, specifically at a turn in Chuharchak village, situated along SH-78. The perpetrators fled the scene after the shooting.
Sarmera police have initiated an investigation into the murder. The body has been sent to Biharsharif Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The deceased has been identified as Shishupal Kumar, also known as Karu, the son of Brij Yadav, a resident of Chuharchak village. Local residents speculate that the murder may have been motivated by personal disputes or existing rivalries.
An earlier incident, the brutal murder of Kishori Yadav in Chuharchak village on the nights of July 12th and 13th, is also being considered. Shishupal’s name had surfaced in connection to that case. Authorities suspect that the recent shooting could be a retaliatory act for Kishori Yadav’s murder. The incident unfolded while the victim and his father were working in their fields.
Sadar DSP Nurul Haq confirmed the incident, stating that a young man had been shot and killed at a turn in Chuharchak village. Police are thoroughly investigating the case, focusing on every aspect to identify and apprehend the criminals.
