Silver Prices Continue Downtrend, Latest Rates in Metro Areas

Silver mirrored gold's weakness, falling for a second straight day after a two‑day pause. The metal lost Rs 5,100 per kilogram over the last 48 hours, settling at Rs 2,45,000 per kilogram (or Rs 245 per gram) nationwide. In Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata the price is Rs 2,44,900 per kilogram, while Chennai commands a premium at Rs 2,49,900 per kilogram. Other metros such as Noida, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar, Gurugram, and Patna trade at Rs 2,44,900 per kilogram. The decline follows a volatile March‑June period where silver rallied by Rs 15,000 per kilogram before correcting sharply.
