Mangoes, the king of fruits, are beloved across India. However, individuals with diabetes often have to forgo this treat. Now, there’s good news for diabetic patients. The Bihar Agricultural University (BAU) in Sabour is conducting research to develop mango varieties suitable for consumption by people with diabetes. The research focuses on mangoes with a low glycemic index, aiming to create a variety with significantly reduced sugar content. This could allow diabetic patients to enjoy two to three mangoes without worry.
