A shocking incident has come to light in the Rusulpur police station area of Kahalgaon sub-division in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district, where a teacher is accused of fleeing with two minor students from his school. The incident, which occurred on May 27, involves Hariom Yadav, a teacher at Jawaharlal Nehru High School Dhanoura. Two ninth-grade students went missing, prompting their families to file a complaint alleging that Yadav had enticed the girls away. According to the families, Yadav provided the students with mobile phones and maintained constant contact. When one father confronted the student, she revealed that the phone was given by the teacher. Further investigation indicated that the other student also received a phone from Yadav and communicated with him. After facing threats from the teacher, the parents reported the matter to the school administration, but no immediate action was taken. The teacher subsequently absconded with both students ten days after the complaint. Police have registered a case of abduction and are conducting raids to locate the teacher and the students. CCTV footage has corroborated the incident, showing the teacher with a student at 1:06 AM. The police have assured that the girls will be recovered, and the accused will be arrested soon. The education department has also initiated an inquiry and promised action.
