Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, has issued a strong warning, urging individuals to refrain from interfering in his personal life. This follows reports of his second marriage, which led to his expulsion from the party and disownment from his family, as announced by Lalu Yadav on social media. Speaking to the news agency ANI, Tej Pratap stated that he has been ostracized in every way. While he offers his blessings to his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav, he emphasized the need for privacy in his personal affairs, declaring that he is not afraid of anyone. When asked if he would form a new party, he responded by saying that he would go to the people. He clarified that he will fight from wherever he contests, without revealing his party affiliation or whether he will run as an independent. He further stated that those who support him are like God to him. He also expressed his desire for Tejashwi Yadav to become the Chief Minister of Bihar, offering his blessings. Tej Pratap also expressed that he has always respected his parents. He feels unsafe at the moment and has appealed to the government to enhance his security, citing threats to his life.
