He also mentioned the perceived undermining of democracy and the importance of safeguarding the constitution. Yadav advised Paswan, whom he considers an elder brother, to get married soon. Responding to Yadav’s remarks, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, quipped that the advice also applied to him, adding with a laugh that discussions were underway with his father (Lalu Yadav).
