Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav narrowly avoided a serious accident on Saturday morning when a speeding truck collided with vehicles in his convoy near Goraul, Vaishali district. The incident occurred on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway while the convoy was en route to Patna after a political rally. Yadav was taking a tea break a short distance away when the truck crashed into the parked vehicles. Security personnel were injured and immediately taken to a local hospital. The truck driver was apprehended, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway, with authorities examining potential factors such as speeding or driver fatigue. The incident has reignited concerns about the safety of political figures traveling on Bihar roads, especially during late-night journeys. Yadav, after ensuring the injured were attended to, has resumed his schedule and reassured his supporters of his safety.
