Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav narrowly avoided a serious accident early Saturday morning when a speeding truck collided with two vehicles in his convoy. The incident occurred near Goraul in Vaishali district as Yadav was returning to Patna from a political rally in Madhepura. The convoy had stopped for a brief tea break on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway at approximately 12:30 AM when the truck struck the stationary vehicles. Fortunately, Yadav was a short distance away and unharmed, though three security officials sustained injuries and were immediately taken to a local hospital. The truck driver was apprehended at the scene, and authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, including potential factors such as speeding or driver fatigue. The incident has reignited concerns about the safety of political figures traveling on Bihar’s roads, especially during late-night journeys. Yadav, after visiting the injured officials and expressing his concern, has resumed his normal activities, assuring his supporters of his well-being.
