Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav narrowly avoided a serious accident early Saturday morning when a speeding truck collided with his convoy in Vaishali district, near Goraul. The incident occurred on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway while Yadav was returning to Patna from a political rally in Madhepura. The convoy had stopped for a tea break when the truck crashed into the parked vehicles of his security detail. Yadav, who was a short distance away at the time, was unharmed. However, three security personnel sustained injuries and were promptly taken to a local hospital. The truck driver was apprehended at the scene, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. The incident has sparked concerns about the safety of political figures traveling on Bihar roads, especially during nighttime hours. Party leaders have called for a thorough review of VIP security protocols and improved road safety measures.
