Today's Precious Metal Prices: 24K Gold Below ₹1.41 Lakh, Silver at ₹2.15 lakh/kg

Today's market data shows a clear correction in India's precious‑metal segment. The 24‑carat gold price fell to ₹1,40,540 per 10 grams, a decrease of roughly ₹1,680 from the previous day. 22‑carat gold dropped to ₹1,30,590, while 18‑carat settled at ₹1,05,405. Major Indian metros—including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and others—recorded similar figures, with 24‑carat hovering around ₹1.40 lakh. Silver prices across the same cities fell to ₹2,15,000 per kilogram, except a few locations where it stayed at ₹2,25,000. The downward trend aligns with a global dip, as COMEX gold slid under USD 4,000 per ounce and silver slipped to USD 55.83 per ounce.
