Tragic Roof and Wall Failure Leaves Family Injured, One Child Dead

A sudden collapse of a mud‑brick house in Singhudi village, Aurangabad district, resulted in a heartbreaking loss. The rain‑weakened walls and roof gave way just after midnight, burying the entire family of five. Twelve‑year‑old Babli Kumari succumbed to her injuries instantly, while her mother Poonam Devi and three siblings – Nandani Kumari, Rimi Kumari and Kundan Kumar – suffered critical wounds. All the injured were transported to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital, where doctors report that two of them remain in a critical condition. Police arrived promptly, secured the scene and began a post‑mortem on the child’s body.
