Two Gangsters Apprehended in Masaurhi Shootout; Illegal Arms Recovered

A high-stakes encounter between Bihar's Special Task Force (STF) and armed criminals in Patna's Masaurhi block resulted in the capture of two wanted men early Wednesday. The suspects initiated a barrage of gunfire as police units attempted to blockade their route on the Charma rural road. While the police vehicle was struck by bullets, no officers were injured. The police returned fire in self-defense, wounding Ashok Paswan. Following the arrest of Paswan and his accomplice Ajay Yadav, authorities recovered an illegal revolver, two live cartridges, and two spent casings from the scene. The injured suspect is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital under strict security.
