A shocking incident has emerged from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, where a woman betrayed her husband just five and a half months after their wedding. She informed her husband via WhatsApp, sending a message that read, “Sorry, I am going to marry my boyfriend.” The husband was left stunned.
The husband immediately informed his family, who then discovered that the woman had absconded with 53,000 rupees in cash and jewelry worth approximately 1.70 lakh rupees. A police complaint was filed, and an investigation has commenced.
The incident occurred in the Mithanpura police station area. The victim stated that his marriage to a woman from Sheohar had taken place five and a half months prior. Initially, everything seemed normal, but recently, his wife had been frequently talking on the phone with an unknown number. He hadn’t suspected anything, assuming she was talking to her friends.
On Thursday, his wife told him she was going to a college on Club Road, and he let her go. However, as the day turned to evening and then night, she didn’t return. He started calling her, but she didn’t answer. He, along with his family, began searching for her. Later, he received a WhatsApp message from an unknown number with an apology and a photo of her with another man. She wrote that she was going to marry him and had taken cash and jewelry from the house. He has requested the police to find her.
Mithanpura police have initiated an investigation based on the husband’s complaint. They are looking into the matter and coordinating with the Sheohar police, as the man in question is from Sheohar. Efforts are underway to locate the wife and her boyfriend, with hopes of a swift resolution.
