Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav appears to have sidelined his eldest son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from the party and family. This action followed the viral spread of a picture of Tej Pratap with Anushka Yadav. Tej Pratap has been expressing his feelings and conveying political messages through social media. He has been reminiscing about his parents and has been seen standing in front of a picture of Lalu Prasad Yadav with his arms outstretched.
Tej Pratap posted a picture of his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, on social media. In this picture, Tej Pratap is standing below a picture of Lalu Prasad Yadav on the wall. He also wrote a message with this picture, ‘The darker the darkness, the closer the morning will be.’ In this picture, Tej Pratap Yadav is holding both his hands outstretched, through which he appears to be desperate for his return. In such a situation, the question arises whether Tej Pratap, who has always been Lalu Yadav’s favorite son, and who has always forgiven his mistakes and follies, will be forgiven this time as well?
Lalu Prasad Yadav took action against Tej Pratap, potentially severing ties with both party and family. This decision is viewed in the context of the upcoming Bihar elections, with allegations surfacing about Tej Pratap’s relationship with a woman named Anushka Yadav. It’s claimed that Tej Pratap has married Anushka Yadav, while his first marriage to Aishwarya Yadav is still under legal dispute. The emergence of pictures of Tej Pratap with Anushka Yadav is seen as potentially damaging to Lalu’s party and family, prompting the action by Lalu Prasad Yadav, citing public conduct and family discipline.
Tej Pratap’s efforts to return seem evident. After Lalu’s action, Tej Pratap expressed his feelings on social media platform X, writing, ‘My dear Mom and Dad… My whole world is just in you both. You are more than God, you and your given orders are everything to me. I only need your trust and love, not anything else. Papa, if you were not there, neither would this party be, nor would some greedy people like Jaychand be with me in politics. Just Mom-Dad, may you both always be healthy and happy.’ He did not mention any of his siblings. He then posted another message focusing on his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav, with both posts featuring the mention of ‘Jaychand.’ Addressing Tejashwi Yadav, he wrote, ‘Those who dream of separating me from my Arjun, you will never succeed in your conspiracies. You can take Krishna’s army, but not Krishna himself. I will soon expose every conspiracy. Just trust my brother, I am with you in every situation, currently far away, but my blessings were always with you and will remain with you my brother, take care of Mom-Dad, Jaychand is everywhere, inside and outside.’
Tej Pratap Yadav shared a post on June 7th where he was seen listening to people’s problems. Tej Pratap wrote that a person walking on the path of truth always wins. We should always walk on the path of truth. The path of truth is certainly difficult, but victory is always of the person walking on the path of truth. Raja Harishchandra regained his lost prestige by walking on the path of truth, the Pandavas defeated the Kauravas in the war by walking on the path of truth. Afterwards, he made another post on June 9th, in which he is standing with his arms outstretched under the picture of Lalu Yadav on the wall.
Tej Pratap seems helpless in his attempt to return to the family and the party. Lalu Yadav will forgive sooner or later, but is refraining from taking action in the current election environment. Lalu Yadav’s political history is filled with examples of people the RJD leader has forgiven. However, the reasons for forgiveness can vary, and political reasons differ from family relationships. It is true that Lalu Yadav did not forgive Purnia MP Pappu Yadav. The list may include the names of Sadhu Yadav and some relatives. There is a separate list of leaders.
Names like Nitish Kumar to Shivanand Tiwari to Jagdanand Singh are also included. Regarding Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav has made remarks ranging from drinking poison to having teeth in his stomach – and there was a time when the entire Lalu family called him Paltu Kumar. But, in 2022, when Nitish Kumar again became the Chief Minister of the Mahagathbandhan, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi was asked about the 2015 election with Nitish Kumar and Nitish Kumar’s return to the NDA in 2017. Then Rabri Devi had said, ‘Everything is forgiven… everything is forgiven.’
