A shocking incident has emerged from the Banka district of Bihar. A woman, married just four months prior, has reportedly left her husband and eloped with another man. The woman, who was fond of creating reels, allegedly developed a relationship with the man through social media. Her husband has filed a complaint with the police, seeking her return and accusing her in-laws of facilitating her escape. The victim, identified as Dilip Das, married the woman on May 16, 2025, in the Rajoun police station area. He claims his wife was active on Instagram, posting videos with an unknown man, which raised his suspicions about a pre-existing relationship. He further alleges that his in-laws conspired to help her elope with the man, who is reportedly from the Bhagalpur district. Das, who works as a laborer in Chennai, also claims that his wife took with her approximately 1.5 lakh rupees. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, examining the complaint and photographs provided by the husband. The woman’s father, however, has accused his son-in-law of causing his daughter’s disappearance. Rajoun police station chief Chandradeep Kumar confirmed that an investigation is underway following the complaint.
