A shocking incident has occurred in the Jamui district of Bihar, where a laborer discovered an astronomical sum of money in his bank account, an amount he couldn’t even fully count. The worker, Teni Manjhi, reportedly found 10 trillion, 1 crore, 35 lakh, and 6 thousand rupees in his account. The sheer magnitude of the sum left him bewildered.
According to information received, Teni Manjhi, a resident of Achhari village in the Sadar police station area, found the staggering amount deposited in his bank account on Tuesday. The news left Manjhi in disbelief. He works as a plumber in Jaipur.
Reportedly, on Wednesday morning, Manjhi needed to send money for his father’s medication. He checked his mobile balance and was astonished to see such a huge amount that it wouldn’t even fit on the screen. He immediately informed his family and told them he was going to the bank, planning to transfer the money for his father’s medication.
News of the enormous sum in his account quickly drew a crowd to his house. Teni Manjhi attempted to withdraw the money, but the bank froze his account within seconds. He had opened the account five years ago in Mumbai, where he was employed as a laborer. The entire matter has reached the cybercrime police station.
Teni Manjhi’s family resides in Achhari village. His father, Kaleshwar Manjhi, is also a laborer. Kaleshwar Manjhi stated that his son informed him about the large sum of money in his account, but neither knew the source nor the exact amount. Teni Manjhi himself admitted that he only had 500 rupees in the account initially, making the sudden appearance of such a massive balance all the more shocking.
The bank has initiated an investigation into the matter, suspecting a technical glitch or potential cyber fraud as the cause for the substantial deposit into Teni Manjhi’s account. The bank management is actively trying to determine the origin and method of this unusually large sum of money.
