Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, during his visit to Japan, engaged in discussions with senior representatives from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), including Mr. Nakajo Kazuya, Mr. Ando Yuji, and Mr. Hara Harunobu, in Tokyo. The meeting focused on exploring collaborative opportunities in investment and industry. The Chief Minister highlighted Chhattisgarh’s significant potential in various sectors, such as IT, textiles, aerospace, automobiles, electronics, and clean energy, and encouraged the JETRO delegation to consider investment prospects within the state’s expanding economy. He emphasized Chhattisgarh’s strategic location in India as a key industrial and investment hub, emphasizing its investor-friendly policies, streamlined processes, and robust infrastructure. These discussions are expected to strengthen economic cooperation between Chhattisgarh and Japan. Furthermore, the Chief Minister visited the ‘Deep Space – To the Moon & Beyond’ exhibition, which was organized to commemorate National Space Day. He acknowledged that this exploration into space science and innovation would inspire the forthcoming Space Manufacturing Cluster in Rajnandgaon, which is being developed with support from the Government of India. Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence in the visit’s ability to generate tangible outcomes in the areas of investment, innovation, and technology transfer. He reiterated the Chhattisgarh government’s goal to achieve industrial self-sufficiency and to establish a strong global presence through international collaboration.
