Raipur. Under the leadership of State Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and under the guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Urban Administration and Development Department Arun Sao, as per the guidelines of the State Urban Administration and Development Department, as per the instructions of Raipur District Administration, the common people in the capital city Municipal Corporation Raipur area are being provided daily healthy living. Work including environmental monitoring is being done continuously.
There are a total of 70 wards under 10 zones under Raipur Municipal Corporation area, in which 201 public and community toilets are constructed. The number of community toilets is 112, the number of public toilets is 72, the number of smart toilets is 13 and the number of pink toilets is 4. The operation and maintenance of 112 community toilets located in the slums of Raipur city is being done through 7 institutions under the Swachhta Shringar Yojana, which is used free of cost for the residents.
Smart toilets and pink toilets are also being operated on a free basis. There are 4 pink toilets built in Municipal Corporation Raipur, which are being constructed and operated keeping in mind the facilities of women only. There are 13 well-equipped smart toilets, which are being operated and maintained by advertising company Graceful (India) Media.
