21‑Year‑Old Krishna Dhruv Detained After Knife Assault, Sent to Judicial Remand

The Bilaspur police confirmed that Krishna Dhruv, aged 21, was arrested after a violent incident in which he attacked a person with a knife during a scuffle on 6 September 2026. The suspect managed to escape the scene initially, but a coordinated police search, prompted by an informant’s lead, resulted in his capture. In addition to taking the suspect into custody, officers recovered a deadly knife from his cache. The accused has been charged under IPC sections 296, 115(2), 351(3) and the Arms Act’s sections 25 and 27. He was placed in judicial remand and transferred to a district jail pending further legal proceedings.
