365-Day Free Food Service Launched at Mekaahara Hospital
Raipur, The 365-day free food service campaign was inaugurated today at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital (Mekaahara) in Raipur by the hands of the Honorable Health Minister of Chhattisgarh Government, Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. This service has been initiated with the initiative of the Rotary Club of Raipur Cosmo Divas, the support of the Rotary Club of Raipur Infinity, and the backing of the Rotary Club of Raipur Cosmopolitan, and its operation and daily execution will be managed by Kuchh Farz Hamara Bhi (KFHB).
The objective of this service campaign is to provide free, clean, nutritious, and dignified meals daily to the relatives of patients admitted to the hospital, so that they do not have to worry about basic needs like food during the difficult time of treatment.
On this occasion, Honorable Health Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal lauded this humanitarian initiative and said that such public welfare works, with the participation of social service organizations and service groups, strengthen sensitivity, cooperation, and the spirit of service in society.
The Kuchh Farz Hamara Bhi KFHB organization has been continuously providing free meals to the relatives of thousands of patients daily in various government hospitals in Raipur, such as DKS Hospital, for the past 8 years. With this experience and commitment to service, this 365-day food service has now been started at Mekaahara Hospital, where hot and nutritious meals will be provided daily to the relatives of patients.
Many office bearers, members of the Rotary family, social workers, administrative officers, and distinguished citizens were present at the event. All participated in the food distribution themselves, embodying Rotary's core motto of "Service Above Self".
Mr. Nitin Singh Rajput, Founder and President of Kuchh Farz Hamara Bhi (KFHB), stated that this service will be conducted continuously throughout the year without any holidays. Its objective is not just to provide food, but also to convey a message of sensitivity, respect, and social responsibility towards needy families to society.
At the end of the program, spokesperson Kailash Agarwal expressed gratitude to all supporting organizations, volunteers, donors, and societal collaborators, and pledged to continue moving this service campaign forward.
