The district administration in Pendra has taken strict action concerning the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana). Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and lack of diligence. Additionally, a show-cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat. Furthermore, directives have been issued to immediately transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat to another location. The action was taken under the instructions of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has made it clear that negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated at any level. He warned all panchayat staff that strict action will continue against those who obstruct the implementation of crucial schemes like the PM Awas Yojana. This stern action by the administration has caused ripples in the panchayats, with the remaining panchayats being instructed to implement schemes in a timely and transparent manner.
