Action Taken: Official Suspended, Notice Issued in Pendra for PM Awas Yojana Lapses

The district administration in Pendra has taken stern action regarding the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana). Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and lack of diligence. Additionally, a show cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the Employment Assistant of the same panchayat.

Furthermore, directives have been issued to immediately transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat to another location. This action was taken under the direction of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid. He has clearly indicated that negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated at any level. Vaid has warned all panchayat staff that strict action will continue against those who hinder the implementation of important schemes like the PM Awas Yojana.

This firm stance by the administration has caused a stir in the panchayats, with the remaining panchayats also being instructed to implement schemes on time and with transparency.
