Central Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Chhattisgarh to participate in the Bastar Dussehra celebrations. He is expected to attend the event on October 4th and pay respects at the Muria Darbar. Administrative preparations are underway at the Lal Bagh मैदान in Jagdalpur for Shah’s visit. Notably, Amit Shah may meet with surrendered Naxalites during his visit. Additionally, meetings with officers involved in the Naxal operations and security forces personnel are also possible, prompting heightened administrative alert. The visit has been confirmed by Amit Shah himself on social media. The visit is also deemed significant considering the preparations on the Naxal front. He may also interact with the soldiers deployed on the Naxal front and engage with surrendered Naxalites to understand the changes in their lives. Furthermore, Amit Shah is also expected to meet with villagers residing in the interior areas of the Bastar division. CM Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy CM Vijay Sharma, Arun Sao, and several senior ministers and MPs will also be present at the Bastar Dussehra with Amit Shah. The invitation was extended to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah by Bastar MP and President of the Dussehra Committee, Mahesh Kashyap, in Delhi, and he accepted it. Preparations for Amit Shah’s visit on October 4th are underway, although the specific programs he will attend are yet to be finalized. However, he posted on social media that he is eager to participate in the Bastar Dussehra, as this festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in a Naxal-free and peaceful Bastar.
