Organizational Overhaul: BJP’s Communication Wing Gets Coordinated Lead

Alongside the state‑level reshuffle, the BJP has restructured its communication apparatus. Party media chief Anil Baluni has been elevated to the role of Communication Department Coordinator, consolidating media, IT and social‑media functions under a single umbrella.

Ashish Agrawal steps in as Media Department Convenor, replacing Baluni. The party also announced a team of media co‑convenors – Ashish Usha Agrawal, Pradeep Bhandari and Siddharth Yadav – to support the new structure. Digital responsibilities have been handed to Deepak Mhaske.

The reorganisation is intended to create a more integrated communication strategy, ensuring smoother coordination between traditional media, information technology and social platforms. Party officials view the change as essential for projecting a unified message ahead of the elections.
