Block Education Officer Jagdalpur Suspended
Case of negligence in the rationalization process
Raipur, June 06, 2025/ Block Education Officer (BEO) Jagdalpur, Mansingh Bhardwaj has been suspended with immediate effect for serious negligence in the ongoing rationalization process in Bastar district. This action has been taken by the in-charge Collector Shri Prateek Jain on the approval of Commissioner Bastar Division Shri Doman Singh.
According to the order issued, Mr. Bhardwaj presented erroneous and misleading information at several levels to the District Level Committee from Vikas Khand Jagdalpur for rationalization. For example, a junior teacher was shown as senior and a senior teacher as junior in the Government Higher Secondary School of Nagarnar. In addition, incorrect details were also presented in the information related to the cadre of Vivekananda Higher Secondary School (Hindi Medium), Sejes, Jagdalpur, where the school of E cadre was shown along with vacant posts in both T and E cadres.
Apart from this, many discrepancies were also found in the determination of seniority, information of sanctioned and vacant posts. This working style of Mr. Bhardwaj is not only against the guidelines of the state government, but it is also a violation of the Chhattisgarh Civil Service Conduct Rules 1965 and the Civil Service Classification, Control and Appeal Rules 1966. On the basis of these serious errors, he has been suspended with immediate effect under the Chhattisgarh Civil Service Rules. During the suspension period, his headquarters has been fixed at the District Education Officer’s office, Jagdalpur and he will get subsistence allowance as per rules. This order has been implemented with immediate effect.
