In a shocking incident from Balrampur district, Chhattisgarh, a bride, identified as Sunita, has been arrested for murdering her husband. The marriage took place on May 11th, and within a month, Sunita attempted to kill her husband Budhnath three times. Her final attempt proved fatal when she poisoned his chicken dinner. Reportedly, Sunita harbored resentment towards her husband’s appearance, and had expressed reluctance to the marriage initially. Following the wedding, she made excuses to avoid staying at her marital home. After being forced to return, she hatched the plot to eliminate her husband. Police investigation revealed that the poison was purchased at a local market, and mixed into the chicken curry consumed by the victim, leading to his death. The police apprehended Sunita after the deceased’s mother filed a complaint.
