A disturbing incident has come to light in the Balod district of Chhattisgarh. Three youths are accused of stripping three friends, also students, and attacking their private parts with a stick. The incident reportedly occurred on September 9th in the Ranchirai police station area, specifically in Bhatgaon village. The victims were also tied up and threatened with death if they disclosed the event to anyone. The matter came to light when one of the victim’s fathers questioned him. After receiving the details, the father reported the incident to the Ranchirai police station on September 12th. The police have taken the matter seriously and registered a case against the accused.
According to the complaint filed by Tikaram Sahu, a class 11 student from Bhatgaon, on September 9th at 10 PM, he was sitting near the Karma Mandir school in the village. Indrajeet Mahipal and Raj Kumar Deshlahre approached him and suggested they take a walk around the field. Tikaram accompanied them, and along the way, they met his friends, Chhatrapal Sahu, Thalesh Sahu, and Keshav Joshi. Indrajeet, Keshav, and Raj Kumar invited Thalesh and Chhatrapal to join their walk, and they agreed. The group was led to a pond near the village around 11 PM.
Once there, Indrajeet Mahipal, Keshav Joshi, and Raj Kumar Deshlahre, without any apparent reason, began using obscene language towards Tikaram, Thalesh, and Chhatrapal, and demanded that they remove their pants and underwear. Fearing for their safety, the three friends complied. The accused then used a wooden stick to beat the three students and committed indecent acts. When the three friends attempted to flee, they were stopped. Indrajeet then brought strips of cloth from a nearby cowshed used to fence in plants, tied the hands of the three friends, and Keshav threatened them with a knife. They were warned not to tell anyone about the incident and were threatened with death. Around 3 AM, Tikaram, Chhatrapal, and Thalesh returned to their homes. Due to fear, they did not report the incident to anyone.
The beatings left the three students with injuries. Three days later, on September 12th, around 8:30 PM, Tikaram’s father, Vinod Sahu, questioned him after a shopkeeper named Bisesar mentioned that Indrajeet, Keshav, and Raj Kumar had tied up and beaten some boys. Tikaram then recounted the incident to his father, his older brother, and the fathers of Chhatrapal and Thalesh.
