Bus service reaches Kutul of Abujhmad
The picture of villages is changing with the Niyad Nellanar Yojana
Enthusiasm seen among villagers, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister
Raipur, June 03, 2025/ New speed of development is being seen in the Maoist-affected Abujhmad area of Chhattisgarh. Under the Niyad Nellanar Yojana, after the establishment of 14 new police camps in the interior areas of Narayanpur district, there is a rapid expansion of roads, bridges and mobile connectivity.
In this series, the district administration started a direct bus service from Narayanpur to Gram Kutul for the first time on May 13, 2025. This bus service is connecting remote villages like Kurushnar, Bashing, Kundla, Kohkameta, Irkabhatti, Kacchapal and Kodaliyar along with Gram Kutul, which is located about 49 kilometers away from the district headquarters. There is a special atmosphere of enthusiasm among the villagers with the start of the bus service.
Earlier, the people of these villages used to travel with the help of footpaths. During the rainy season, it was extremely difficult to take patients to the hospital due to the overflowing of rivers and drains. Many times the villagers had to carry the sick person on their shoulders to the hospital. Now, with the start of the bus service, not only has the movement become easier, but the villagers are also getting the facility to reach Narayanpur on time for meeting their daily needs and administrative works.
Similarly, bus service has also been started from Narayanpur to Maspur for 14 villages, due to which the people of these areas have got better contact with the district headquarters. Under the scheme, 4G mobile towers have also been installed, with which the people of villages Kasturmeta, Maspur, Irkabhatti, Mohandi, Horadi, Garpa and Kacchapal are now able to connect to the mobile network. This has not only improved the communication system, but also improved the reach of educational, health and administrative services.
The villagers, while expressing their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and the district administration, said that after years, they are now getting an opportunity to join the mainstream of development. The Niyad Nellanar Yojana has brought a new light in their lives.
