Many important decisions are being expected in this meeting, including issues like decisions in the interest of workers and implementing transfer policy in Chhattisgarh. Important decisions taken in the last cabinet meeting
NIFT’s new campus in Nawa Raipur: The state government has approved the new campus of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Nawa Raipur, which will be estimated at Rs 271.18 crore. With this decision, the youth of the state will get better opportunities in the field of fashion education.
Fee refund in competitive examinations: Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC), Vyapam and Special Junior Employees Selection Board will return the examination fee amount taken from the local candidates. This step will increase the attendance of eligible candidates in the examination.
Relief to traders: It has been decided to waive VAT liability up to Rs 25,000 in pending cases older than 10 years older than 10 years old. This will benefit more than 40,000 traders and reduce more than 62,000 cases.
Production of bio-waste from Bio-CNG: It has been agreed to allocate government land at a discounted rate for setting up bio-waste and agricultural waste. This will make significant progress in the field of cleanliness and energy.
Purchase of sugar from cooperative sugar mills: Under the Public Distribution System (PDS) by 2025-26, sugar will be procured from the state’s cooperative sugar mills. This will encourage cooperative mills and farmers will get better prices.
BEML Manufacturing Plant: Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has been approved to set up heavy Earth Moving Equipment Manufacturing Plant in the state. For this, 100 acres of land will be given at the token rate, which will boost employment and micro-industries.
