Jitendra Sinha, Gariaband. A serious case of rape of a female health worker working in the community health center of the district has come to light. The victim has accused her colleague Tukesh Kumar Sahu of forcibly having a physical relationship and exploiting for a long time by pretending to marry.
According to the information, the incident started during Kovid duty in the year 2021 and lasted till February 2025. The victim has also spoken about forcibly abortion by the accused after being pregnant.
On the complaint of the victim, a crime has been registered against the accused in Panduka police station. Taking quick action, the police arrested the accused Tukesh Kumar Sahu today, on May 5 and sent on judicial remand. At present, the police is engaged in a thorough investigation into the case.
