Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is on a tour of Chhattisgarh. He reached Raipur late on Monday night and met CM Vishnudev Sai at the Chief Minister’s residence. Today, he will hold a meeting of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in the Ministry at 10 am. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Minister Vijay Sharma and Ramvichar Netam will also attend this meeting. After the meeting, Shivraj Singh Chauhan will go to Ambikapur, where he will participate in the Prime Minister’s Housing Rural Program. During this time, they will hand over the keys of the housing to the beneficiaries and get home entry for 51 thousand newly constructed houses. In the program, he will also honor the millionaires of self-help groups.
CM Sai’s visit to Ambikapur
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s day -long program will be busy. At 9:30 in the morning, he will leave the Chief Minister’s residence and reach the Ministry, Mahanadi Bhavan at 9:55 am. There will be a review meeting from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm. After this, at 11:30 pm, he will leave the ministry and reach Swami Vivekananda Airport at 11:45 pm and will leave for Ambikapur by special aircraft at 12:00 pm. At 12:45 pm, he will reach Mahamaya Airport in Ambikapur and from there at 12:50 pm, the car will go to the PG College Ground by the car, where they will arrive at 1:10 pm. From 1:15 to 3:00 pm, he will attend the “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin” program. At 3:15 pm, he will depart from the ground and return to Maa Mahamaya Airport at 3:45 pm. After departing from Ambikapur by helicopter at 4:15 pm, they will reach the police line helipad, Raipur at 4:50 pm. CM will return to the Chief Minister’s residence at 5:20 pm.
Paddy auction and prize match started again today
In Chhattisgarh, 32 lakh metric tonnes of paddy purchased at support price under Kharif marketing year 2024-25 is being auctioned online, but buyers are not available despite the sale rate. In the first phase, only 8 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been auctioned. Now the second phase auction and rate matching will start from today. According to Markfed, so far 6700 stacks (about 8 lakh metric tonnes) have been auctioned and buyers have also started lifting. A stack (1200 quintals) bid of paddy is mandatory. The government has fixed the selling rates, but there is a possibility of loss of crores from sales at a lower rate than support price. This year, paddy was purchased at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and the support price of 32 lakh metric tonnes of paddy is about 9 thousand crore rupees. A total of 125 lakh metric tonnes of paddy is to be resolved for central and state pools, while the auction of surplus paddy is going on.

Under Good Governance Tihar, a Samadhan Camp is being organized on 13 May to solve the problems of seven wards of Municipal Corporation Zone-3 at Indus Bhawan located in front of BTI Ground, Shankar Nagar. Khelo India: Chhattisgarh’s second medal in Kalrtu
Chhattisgarh won a bronze medal in Collectu Martial Arts on 12 May at the 7th Khelo India Youth Games running in Gaya, Bihar. Earlier on May 11, Chhattisgarh won the gold medal in the lathi competition. On Monday, the pair of Ragini and Tuvarna Patel of Korba won the bronze medal at the Long Stuff Lathi event and gave the state a second medal.
