Gaurav Jain, Gourela-Pendra-Marawahi. A new layer of corruption has been exposed in Marwahi forest division. This time, the Subnate Magistrate (SDO) has submitted a complaint to the departmental officers while exposing the conspiracy of fake payment of more than Rs 18 lakh. SDO Mohar Singh Markam has sent a complaint letter to the Bilaspur Forest Circle Circle and Forest Officer demanding action.
Subvenery officer Mohar Singh said in a complaint letter that the officer (SDO) posted in the office has been filed, alleging that the two Babu -02 of the concerned branch have been lodged that under the Marwahi range, a complaint has been lodged that ₹ 18,27,27,214 lakhs in the maintenance work of 20% of the water promotion structures under various compensation tree plantation under Marwahi range that under various compensation trees plantation under Marwahi range. Vouchers were prepared to pay for payment by putting photos of fake works of twenty -seven thousand two hundred and fourteen rupees). In these fake vouchers worth more than Rs 18 lakh, an attempt was made to withdraw such a large government amount by making a duplicate seal of the pendra governor. It was busted when vouchers were sent to the Pendra SDO office for verification due to the understanding of the then DFO. Where the SDO made it clear on seeing the vouchers that they have neither their signatures nor the seal of the office, after which it stopped by the payment.
For information, let us know that no payment of sub-division of any department can be verified by the attached officer, which is against the rule. The role of the attached SDO in this entire episode is not only under suspicion, apart from the working style of Marwahi Forest Officer, it is also necessary to be questioned as to how he has not only presented the work that he did in his range, for his fake photos and vouchers. This means that Marwahi Ranger must have been presenting bills and vouchers for such fake works and presented for payment. They should be suspended immediately or removed from Marwahi forest division and a subtle examination of their tenure, so that their more black exploits can be exposed. Investigating officers of the forest department should investigate this serious complaint and take strict action against the culprits so that corruption can be curbed.
