On the matter of indifference and negligence in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Raigad, Jitendra Yadav, was suspended with immediate effect by Jitendra Yadav, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Raigad, Secretary of Gram Panchayat Ghaghara, Secretary of Gram Panchayat Ghaghara, Kamleshwar Rathia, Secretary, Gram Panchayat Bargarh and Madhuri Sidar, Secretary of Gram Panchayat Soti.
District Panchayat CEO Yadav has said that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is an important scheme of the government. No negligence will be tolerated in this. He said that all the officers and employees of Panchayat and Rural Development have been instructed to take serious discharge of the obligation assigned for the implementation of this scheme and benefit the eligible beneficiaries. He has instructed the officials to visit the rural areas and inspect the quality and progress of construction works as well as to complete the works within the time-limit.
