The weather department has warned of thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and lightning strikes in various parts of the region.

Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, and Gariaband are expected to experience thunderstorms, lightning, strong winds, and storms (60-80 kmph).
Orange Alert:
Sukma, Bijapur, South Bastar Dantewada, Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, Balod, Rajnandgaon, and Gariaband are likely to witness thunderstorms, lightning, sudden strong winds, and storms (40-60 kmph).
Yellow Alert:
Sukma, Bijapur, South Bastar Dantewada, Bastar, North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Gariaband, Mahasamund, Raipur, and Durg are likely to experience thunderstorms, lightning, and sudden strong winds (30-40 kmph).
