Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Vishnu Deo Sai, has announced ₹75 lakh for the construction of domes in five locations for the Dhurwa community, with each dome costing ₹15 lakh. He also assured approval for the proposals submitted by 36 Sarpanchs of the Dhurwa community for the development of Gram Panchayats. This announcement was made during the divisional-level Nuakhai Milan ceremony and the inauguration of the newly constructed social भवन ‘Olek’ in Jagdalpur’s forest school complex. The Chief Minister stated that the state government is committed to the overall development of the tribal community. He also mentioned the ‘Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh Yojana’ initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure there is no shortage of funds for the development of tribal-dominated villages, with a provision of ₹80,000 crore. Furthermore, the Prime Minister Janman Yojana has been launched for the upliftment of particularly backward tribes to connect them to the mainstream of development.
