Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has announced ₹75 lakh for the construction of domes at five locations for the Dhurwa community. The allocation includes ₹15 lakh for each dome. Sai also assured consideration of proposals submitted by 36 sarpanches of the Dhurwa community for the development of their respective gram panchayats. The announcement was made during the divisional-level Nuakhai Milan ceremony and the inauguration of the newly constructed community hall, ‘Olek,’ in Jagdalpur. Sai emphasized the government’s commitment to the overall development of the tribal community. He highlighted the ‘Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh Yojana’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure sufficient funds for the development of tribal-dominated villages. Additionally, the Prime Minister Janman Yojana has been initiated for the upliftment of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
