Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai officially inaugurated the National Supercross Bike Racing Championship at Raipur’s Budhapara Stadium. The Chief Minister himself took a ride on a motorcycle to mark the occasion, donning a helmet and receiving enthusiastic cheers from the assembled crowd, especially the many young attendees. This significant event is being celebrated as part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year festivities. Sai used the platform to advocate for road safety, urging all two-wheeler riders to prioritize wearing helmets and adhering to traffic regulations. He emphasized the importance of channeling the energy and speed of the youth into constructive pursuits, highlighting that their lives are invaluable. The championship aims to foster a sense of discipline, responsibility, and safety among aspiring riders by providing them with a dedicated and secure environment. The President of the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, Ujjwal Deepak, echoed this sentiment, stating that speed should be a passion, not a hazard, and that the event seeks to promote responsible enthusiasm. The MRF National Supercross Championship 2025, held on a custom-built safe track, not only delivers thrilling motor sports action but also reinforces the crucial message of combining speed with safety and discipline.
