Following his visit to Japan, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Chairman Jin Sik Yoon and Vice President Kim Ki Hyun of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) in Seoul. KITA, the largest trade organization in South Korea with over 77,000 members, serves as a leading business platform in Asia. During the meeting, Chief Minister Sai highlighted Chhattisgarh’s Industrial Policy 2024-30, its natural resources, and skilled workforce, engaging in detailed discussions on investment, technology transfer, and skill development opportunities. He emphasized the strong historical and cultural ties between South Korea and Chhattisgarh, stating that the dialogue would open new avenues for investment, technological collaboration, and skill development. This will provide opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh in modern industries and boost the state’s industrial growth. The Chief Minister assured that the state government is committed to providing a conducive environment for investors, including swift approvals and necessary infrastructure. He expressed confidence that the collaboration with KITA would elevate Chhattisgarh’s presence on the global industrial map. Chairman Jin Sik Yoon and Vice President Kim Ki Hyun expressed keen interest in Chhattisgarh’s investor-friendly policies and resources, indicating that Korean companies are enthusiastic about investment opportunities in the state and that concrete partnerships will be established soon. Chief Minister Sai noted that this collaboration would directly benefit Chhattisgarh’s farmers, laborers, and local entrepreneurs. Investment in sectors like food processing, electronics, automobiles, steel, and renewable energy would generate thousands of jobs. Additionally, technology transfer would improve the quality and competitiveness of local industries, driving the state’s economy to new heights and positioning Chhattisgarh as a model of self-reliance and global partnership in the coming years.
